Experience Bubble Football

Bubble football or Bubble Soccer is the recreation/sport of playing football while half-encased inside an inflated torus bubble.

This covers the player’s upper body and head. The game is typically played in teams in large indoor spaces or outdoor fields.

In this sport the same objectives and overall rules are the same as regular football. An added condition is that each player must wear an inflatable bubble similar to a water ball around their upper torso.

The sport’s popularity is still increasing, with players originating from all over the world.

Try Your Hand @ Sailing

Sailing employs the wind acting on sails, wing sails to propel a craft on the surface of the water.

The sport is hugely popular among both young and older people.

Sailboat racing is one of the few sports in which people of all ages and genders can regularly compete with and against each other.

It is one of the most attended sports outside the athletics in the Olympic Games.

At the Highlands Activity Centre you will learn all the nautical rules of sailing.

You will be taught by experienced teachers so you would be in good hands.

The Thrill of Water Sliding

Fun for everyone, water sliding and facing the big obstacles will give you so much fun. These will test your absolute fitness to the hilt.

As you will have seen on some TV programs the craic is mighty. Your friends will laugh at you and you will probably laugh at yourself with the results.

It’s great competition trying to beat the obstacles who are there to take you out of the game and put you into the water.

At the Highlands Activity Centre you will have countless hours of fun with your fellow team mates.

The Wall Climb & Zip Line

The wall climb is not as easy as it looks.

It will drain all your energy from you but the quest to get to the top will drive you on. Once at the top you will then abseil backwards down to the bottom.

It’s then back up the wall one final time using every bit of energy you have left and then a zip line back down.

Your safety is paramount and a specially trained instructor is on hand all the time.
