Rugby Tours To Wellington

Video Credit – Tourism New Zealand

Rugby Tours to Wellington is a major city in New Zealand.

Another new adventure being added to Irish Rugby Tours tour list of destinations to visit.

Wellington the capital and second most populous urban area of New Zealand, with 418,500 residents.

It is located at the south-western tip of the North Island, between Cook Strait and the Remutaka Range.

Its name is from Arthur Wellesley, the first Duke of Wellington.

Title comes from the town of Wellington in the English county of Somerset.

Created by the original settlers of the New Zealand Company in November 1840.

This was based on the suggestion of the directors of the same.

Simply because of the recognition of the Duke’s support for the company’s principles of colonisation.

Super Rugby is also part of the city, the Hurricanes are based here at the Westpac Stadium.
