George worked well with me to craft a tour itinerary. He has a good sense what will work and what can be done each day without overloading the schedule.
All three hotels had nice rooms and facilities such as a pool and gym.
Both Brendan and Paul were knowledgeable and patient with the team. While they were very professional, they were also very nice people to have along on the tour. This is especially important as you end up spending a lot of time with them.
All three clubs were the consummate hosts and were very gracious. The two training sessions were excellent and provided both the players and our coaches with new insights and experiences. Having high level Leinster and Connacht coaches leading these sessions is something we will not forget.
Both the Coach and Driver were excellent. Good sized coach for our group with a little extra room to spread out. Paul our driver was very professional, and very good natured. Fun to be with.
Great all round. We had a great tour that no one will forget. Aside from the rugby games played and watched, the sightseeing tours were great. Everyone enjoyed the trip to the Guinness Storehouse even thought the boys really wanted to sample some Guinness and couldn’t. The Cliffs of Moher were spectacular and not to be missed and the weather co-operated while we were there with brilliant sunshine after rain, sleet, hail and snow on the drive to the cliffs. The boys really enjoyed the trip to the sheep farm which surprised me. Learning Hurling was tons of fun as well. Our trips to Aviva, Croke Park and Thomond Park Stadiums were eye opening and are even better in hindsight after watching Munster beat Toulouse at Thomond Park and Leinster beat Toulon at Aviva this past weekend on TV back at home.
Thanks for an unforgettable time.
