Old Trafford Stadium Tour

Rugby is our first passion and love here at Irish Rugby Tours. However a visit to Manchester has to include a visit to the original ‘Theatre of Dreams’ – Old Trafford, home of Manchester United Football Club.

From the original Busby Babes with Bobby Charlton to the Class of 96 with David Beckham up to today’s hero’s like Paul Pogba.

The Manchester City Stadium tour is a behind the scenes inner showcase of the football club.

You will be taken to areas which are off limits to the general public.

National Football Museum

The National Football Museum originally opened in Preston in 2001.  Home to a collection of over 140,000 boots, balls, programmes, paintings, postcards and ceramics.

While the museum was a critical success and popular with visitors, external funding was withdrawn, the doors closed to the public in 2010.

After investment from the European Regional Development Fund, the National Football Museum opened in Manchester in July 2012.

Over the first six weeks of opening, the museum welcomed over 100,000 visitors.  The museum regularly welcomes approximately 500,000 visitors from the UK and overseas every year.
