Europe’s Crossroads

Rugby Tours To Brussels

Brussels, home of Rugby Tours to Brussels and is officially the Brussels-Capital Region.

A region of Belgium comprising 19 municipalities, including the City of Brussels, which is the capital of Belgium.

The history of Brussels is closely linked to that of Western Europe.

Traces of human settlement go back to the stone age, with place-names related to the Megaliths and the Dolmens.

During Antiquity the region was home to Roman occupation, as attested by archaeological evidence discovered near the centre.

Following the decline of the Western Roman Empire, the region was incorporated into the Frankish Empire.

Autoworld

Autoworld

The Autoworld Brussels is a collection of old cars.

These cars date back to the late 1890s when the first cars rolled onto the roads.

Based at the Parc du Cinquantenaire, this warehouse holds over 400 vehicles and stocks mostly European or U.S. original models.

Boys of course love their cars and this is the ideal place to bring them. They will be able to see that drift driving and skidding were not part of that era.

BELvue Museum

Brussels BELvue Museum is dedicated to the history of modern Belgium.

This museum takes you through a history of Belgium from the beginning when Belgium became an independent nation in 1830.

The museum itself was once a palace that became a hotel and now a museum of history.

As you wander around remember to take note of the splendid architecture inside and not what is just on display too.

Natural History Museum

Natural History Museum

The Museum of Natural Sciences is a museum in the Belgian capital of Brussels dedicated to natural history.

The museum is a part of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences.

It’s a huge building containing huge bones and I mean huge.

We all love natural history programs. So why not pop along to this exhibition of what lived on the planet thousands of years ago.

Royal Museum of the Armed Forces

The Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History is a military museum.

The building occupies the two northern most halls of the historic complex in Cinquantenaire Park in Brussels.

Visit the museum and take in all about the country’s wars. Read about stories of men and women who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of Belgium.

This is a must see with permanent and temporary exhibitions.
