Benidorm 7s

Benidorm 7s will be played at the Costa Blanca Rugby Club, Villajoyosa.

Next year the 2021 festival will take place 22nd – 23rd May and will be in its 34th year.

Formation of the tournament is set over 2 days and there will be 2 sections as follows:

  • Elite Women.
  • Elite Men.

Each team is permitted to bring 14 players but only 12 can be named each day with a roll on roll off for subs.

In addition, there are cash prizes on offer.

Each team will play a minimum of 3 games 7 minutes each way.

The stadium holds 3,ooo people so a good reception for the teams must be had.

Ice baths and changing rooms are available at the stadium.

In addition there will also be water, fruits and Isotonic drinks.

Lunch can be had at the bar or club house.

A Sunday night farewell cocktail at one of the Benidorm hotel is available.

Ambulance and a doctor will be in attendance at the festival.  Players medical insurance is not included.

Also available free parking, clubhouse and a VIP area plus there is a main stand reserved for the players.

So, in May of next year it’s Benidorm by the sea.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

Benidorm 7s 

  • The Benidorm 7s take place 22nd – 23rd May 2021.
  • Run over two days at the Villajoyosa Rugby stadium.
  • Minimum of 3 games per team.

ELITE TOUR ITINERARY

Benidorm 7s Elite Sides Tour Itinerary 

Day 1

  • Collected from your clubhouse to your selected airport of departure flying into the following airports:
    • Alicante
    • Benidorm
  • Transfer from airport to your accommodation.
  • Optional activity for the day.
  • Evening dinner at a local restaurant or accommodation.
  • Selected activity for the evening.
  • Return to accommodation.

Day 2

  • Early breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Transfer to 34th Benidorm 7s.
  • Festival begins for teams.
  • Lunch at festival.
  • Games resume.
  • Back to accommodation.
  • Dinning at local restaurant or accommodation.
  • An evening activity if you desire.

Day 3

  • Continental breakfast at accommodation.
  • 34th Benidorm 7s begins.
  • Lunch at festival.
  • Resumption of games.
  • Trophy Presentations.
  • Hotel dinner.
  • Farewell cocktails at hotel.
  • Back to accommodation.
  • An evening activity if you desire.

Day 4

  • Early Breakfast.
  • Prepare to leave for airport.
